have you tried to play a dream theater song with only 2 fingers? it hurts... the three fingers makes it easier on your arm plus its less tiring.

it's hard to compare John and Flea. John is THE most technically sound bassist ive ever heard. Yet, you cant f*ck with flea's grooviness. Still....John Myung = the definition of progressive bass playing!!!
