  • hi, im an 11 year old dubstep dj/producer, i will be djing my songs but i dont know weather to get a trigger finger or a mashine mikro

    what do you think?

  • @mitchell1gilbert Hi Mitch! First off, props for getting into music at such a young age - I was the same age when I started and my life's not been the same since ;) It depends how you want to work really, and what other equipment you have; email me at chris(at)ohdratdigital(dot)com if you like and we'll talk more! (get your mum/dad's permission to email me though!)

  • Ohdra I have an MPK25. Cna i use it with machine to lets say...control FX?

  • @han549 Hi Han, you *can*, but only in a very specific way; there are eight macro dials you can set up for easy control of your favourite elements in an instrument, and you can set up an external controller to control them. There are limitations though, such as the inability to record automation with them.

  • i have been interested in buying the maschine mikro and soon will have the chance to purchase it BUT i am curious because i have a microkorg..how exactly can i connect my synth to the maschine mikro?

  • @ihaveAfr0 The Mikro hardware has no MIDI in port, but the Maschine software still allows MIDI in. You could connect your MicroKorg to your computer via another method and send MIDI in to Maschine to control it, or connect the audio to your computer and record in via Maschine!

  • @ohdratdigital can I hook it up with FL studio and how would I go about doing that with all the drum and Komplete sounds aswell?

  • @MrLuukkiking Everyone has to start somewhere! Send me an email - chris (at) ohdratdigital (dot) com if you'd like to chat about where to start :)
