Lulz, your not the only one. I take 10-30 minutes just to make my character. Since it's pretty much the only costume you get, cause if you try to fix it at the costume shop, you only screw it up more.

Self Destruct is a skill you get from the Cyborg pack, 10 dollars on the NCsoft store. Thats really all its good for, though.
