I forgot you aren't pressing it as fast as you can... but yeah I feel like if you setup the r\ythm prior to starting and then moved your hands over it. This is what I did for one track and field event once on the NES. Worked pretty well. Still you gotta make sure you don't press it too early or too late. Try it out and tell me if you get better times. ;) I THINK you'll be surprised... but I could be wrong. I'd like to see you test it at least though. :D

@FlyHec its rocky rose here I was wandering if you have any arthitis or pain in your fingers or hands from all the hrs youve practiced this game and others like it?

@UndercoverPyramid55 Either I've been lucky or I'm just conditioned for this kind of punishment. I do lots of strenuous things with my hands all the time. I do Power Cleans, throw the shot put, throw discus, kettle bell work, 600lb shrugs, finger tip/clap push-ups and one handed clean & jerks with 135lbs+ on an olympic bar. I have had forearm strains which is related to grip but never any real arthritis pain in my hands. I do have bad arthritis in my back though.

Hey, Hector... I'm curious of something.
Is it legal by TG to start your button mashing before the event begins. What I mean is... say start your 8 finger technique at the side of the buttons and then RIGHT when it starts, just move your hands over? You'd basically have a running start if you get what I mean.

I'm sure that would be fine. But I doubt it would make a difference. I start at full speed and time the start anyway. Actually, I uasually start too fast and have to slow my pace down to gain speed. So maybe it could help with my pacing.
