They don't make 'em like this any more. Terrible cliche I know but, like most terrible cliches, it's true. The quality of the writing and acting just doesn't seem to be around nowadays. Forget the political stuff - does it make you laugh? Yes it does. Fair enough then...

Over the years "It ain't half hot mum" has become my favourite show and even though I also very much love Dad's Army, I keep watching "we british" in India over and over again. I suspect I have become an "IAHHM addict". Oooh ACHA SAAB!
