Phil and Sharon Rose Allison Sing "Freedom Is a State of Mind" Occupy Boulder CO Dec. 24, 2011

Saturday December 24, 2011 - Brother and sister duet Phil and Sharon Rose Allison sing "Freedom Is a State of Mind" at the Occupy Boulder occupation at Broadway and Canyon. Phil was visiting from Brooklyn NY where he has been involved with OWS. It was great to connect with an occupier from across the nation and hear his stories about the NY occupation. Phil said the Boulder occupation has a different feel than the NY occupation.
"I never really got down with the homeless in NY," said Phil, "until you get into their community you don't realize it's... community."
"It's a different state of mind we have to reach," he added, "to work together. It's hard!"
Sharon Rose resides in Boulder and is hosting her brother. " I love to feed people," she said, "I love feeding people I love."
