Not to long ago we took a look at the Clickfree HD801, a 160GB external hard drive that had an integrated piece of software that could automatically backup your pictures, videos and documents without as much as a click on the user's part. -- In this interview we chat with the head honcho over at Clickfree and he shares a new gadget, a future gizmo, and a lot of enthusiasm for his product.
I just got one of the 500gb drives, and you can choose what you want to back up exp. web docs, photos, vids, ect.. I want to know if I can use it as an hard drive to store stuff and get ride of it on my pc hard drive

mbailey2703,
The ClickFree acts like a regular hard drive. Connect it via USB, then exit out of the automatic client. You can now copy your data to the drive.

Father Robert, did they hook you up with a coupon code for being a viewer of Gadget? You've helped them out considerably and I'm ready to get the transformer and later on one of their dedicated hard drives.

maxgeron,
Sorry, no coupon. :( --- But I do have a transformer in the lab and I'll have a review up as soon as I get off my lazy butt!: :)
