Draw a line -- accept personal responsibility. I truly know how difficult threshold prevention is, or is going to be. The OD/MD has AN OBLIGATION when you are at 20/40 (about -3/4 diopters) to explain the remarks by Dr. Prentice, as well as play Don's video to you. Tragically, these ODs ASSUME you are too stupid to understand a rational choice, based on science, at that point. If anything is a scam, it is ASSUMING you don't want plus prevention based on science at 20/40.

@Blacksquareable Thanks! The scientific data is even more convincing. Prevention with the plus is indeed possible. But I gave up on ODs, and realized that prevention must start before your Snellen goes below 20/40. The ODs have a business -- and their business is to protect THEIR BUSINESS. They make no money by protecting YOUR distant vision. That is why you have no choice but to do it yourself.
