God, it's so dumb to scalpel your ears... it's not that hard to use tape or weights. I guess he gets partial credit for having an incubus song in the video.

Seriously use taping if your in that big of a gauge. that must of sucked

@woodguts Scalpelling is sometimes the only way to fix some ear issues.

I plan on having my left ear scalpelled because when I was young, my left ear piercing was a bit lower than the one on the right. It didn't show much then, but now that my lobes are over 1.5", I can tell a difference in the positioning and it really bugs me. You can't even them out with tape...

@woodguts Weights cause uneven stretching and thinning of certain parts of the lobes, so weights aren't a good idea. Also it's a quicker, more immediate way of getting your ears to the size you want. Especially when you get to larger sizes, and your ears may be thinning unevenly, scalpelling is ideal in those cases.

@woodguts i dont know why he is scalpelling his ears but a lot of people do it cause they want to go bigger but there lobs are thinning on th bottom.

im at 1/2 but then i went the size after 1/2 and then waited then went to 5/8ths and i ripped the inside of my lobes so i had to downsize back to 1/2 which sucked becuz i bought my jewelry for 5/8 aka MY DREAM SIZE and now my ears month later still bleed and i don t wanna stretch again so im getting my Ears scalpelld to be at my dream size not cuz im a pussy or nothing i just hate my lobes right now cuz they still sore and just tired of it so WHEN IN DOUBT GET EARS SCALPELLD!!!!
