Nicks P.O.V.
I planned everything I wanted to do for Alex that night. I wanted everything to go just as I planned. I saw her go up to the roof and I decided to wait a few minutes before I joined her, build the suspense.
"Hey Tink", I said walking up behind Alex using my nickname for her.
"Hey Poohbear", she greeted me. I chuckled giving her a quick kiss.
"Do you like it?" I asked as we looked out over the city.
"Its beautiful", Alex replied smiling at me. I couldnt wait to show her what else I had planned for that night.
"Well, I have something else planned for tonight", I told her.
"Really?" Alex asked.
"Yeah, you ready to go?" I asked her.
"Sure", she replied. I grabbed her hand as I led her down the stairs and out to my car. We got into the car and I drove us to our destination.
"Where are we going?" Alex asked me.
"Youll see, its a surprise", I told her.
"Please?" she asked.
"Nope", I said smiling at her. After driving for a while we finally arrived and I looked over at Alex who looked confused.
"What are we doing here?" she asked.
"I thought you would like it. Come on", I said grabbing her hand and leading her towards the Statue of Liberty.
We walked up to the top of the statue, which was a fairly long walk. We finally reached the top and the view was breathtaking.
"Nick its gorgeous", Alex said looking out over the city.
"Im glad you like it", I said.
"I love it, its so beautiful", Alex said still amazed.
"Not as beautiful as you", I said. Yes, I know its cheesy, but oh well.
"Wow, that was extremely cheesy", Alex giggled.
"Yeah, I know", I said. I stood next to her and placed my hand on top of hers. After about an hour we were ready to head back.
"Thanks Nick, that was amazing", Alex said as we got into the car.
"No problem", I replied. I leaned in and gave her a kiss before I put the car into drive and drove us back to the bus.
"Howd it go?" Joe asked once I got back to the bus. I had already said goodnight to Alex and she was back on her bus.
"It was perfect, thanks for the idea", I said.
"No problem, glad I could help", Joe said.
