This is one of my compositions from 1996 which I wanted to arrange and record from scratch. It's a kind of latino rhythm in 5/8. The ocarinas are C and G Mountain Ocarinas. And yes, some ocarina songs are not from Zelda ;-)

I use a Boss BR-600 to record the audio (it's a flash 8-track recorder) with a Zoom H2 (field mp3 recorder) used as a microphone. I record the movie at the same time with a Samsung VP-HMX10 HD video camera. So what you see is what you hear. Each video track is synchronized with a finger-snap. Then the video is put together with Magix Video Deluxe 15 (which is Movie Edit Pro 15 in USA). In the audio mix, I just added some reverb (with the BR-600), and a final mix preset (equalizer, light compression).

Please see it in HD!

Specially dedicated to my wife, for her patience in letting me time to do it.

  • Lovely rhythm. Nice playing.

    That singing is nice too.

It doesn't jump out to much which makes it so calm

    and yet stunning song.

    5 stars for you

  • Thanks for the extensive comment! I was wondering if the "singing" part would be OK. I like it, but I also know that my singing is, well... see my face when I sing... :-)

  • This kind of reminds me of something from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

  • I don't know it. If you have a link to it, please post :-)

  • Very very nicely done. The duet was surprisingly reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel's "El Condor Pasa." Great video production values as well.
