William Castle's gimmick-laden horror thriller is a fairground funhouse come to life. Vincent Price stars as a suave eccentric millionaire married to a beautiful and greedy gold digger. Together they are hosting a party in a sinister haunted house. Five guests are invited to spend the night, and each will get $10,000, but only if they survive until morning. The doors are locked at midnight. There is no turning back. Will you make it out alive?

  • if ur a dude, click on 00:38 over and over again... if ur a dude

  • @JMLVproduction they colorized it in 2007 for a DVD release

  • Don't like the colorizing. It ruins the atmosphere that these kinds of movies have and it always looks obvios that it's been colorized rather then that it had been filmed in color.

  • I saw this film three years after it's release date for a Sunday (One day only slot) at the Granada Chichester, West Sussex, UK. The BBFC gave HOHH an X Certificate at the time, (Only for persons of sixteen years or over) Quite scary in it's day. The big jump scene has to be the old lady in the celler. Don't know about the colorized version but it looks quite good in this trailer.

  • this movie freaked me out as a kid!

  • gr8
