I was driving up the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in the Guanacaste and had passed Samara when I noticed I was close to running out of gas. I was going to Tamarindo which I knew was at least an hour or more north. I started to ask around town for a gas station and passed this place twice before recognizing the penzoil sign. I was amazed when the attendant used a gallon jug to transfer the gas from this huge barrell to my car. They charged 20% more than the standard price and didn't use a filter at all.
What a trip....
Gas is 8$ USD a gallon in Iceland. Consider yourself fortunate.
