"The Green Song" is an original collaboration between vocalist and green lifestyle expert, Shawna Coronado and guitarist, Ricky Rolon. Their goal - - tell Shawna's story and inspire listeners to see their own potential, realizing that everyone can make a difference if they give it a try.

Shawna Coronado is author of the critically acclaimed book, "Gardening Nude", which is a guide for living a green lifestyle and also happens to be a classically-trained singer. She is the CEO of MAD4 World Enterprises, an on-camera spokesperson, newspaper columnist, internationally recognized keynote speaker, as well as an environmental, garden, and health correspondent.

Ricky Rolon has been playing guitar since he was 12 years old. With a strong passion for music, Ricky has been lead guitarist in the hard hitting metal band "Broken Vegas" for nearly ten years. Performing with the band, touring, and producing music CD's has been a driving force in his life. Ricky believes in positive thinking and living, which is why he partnered with Shawna to create this song.

THE NARRATIVE - -

My name is Shawna Coronado.

Not too long ago I was very ill. I had year round bronchitis and sinus infections. I took over a dozen prescriptions a day.

I worked long hours at a stressful job I hated. I was sad. I was weak. I was in pain. I was out of control physically and emotionally.

Then one day I found nature.

I went into nature and began to green my lifestyle by eating and living more thoughtfully, by using less chemicals, by wasting less, by living more.

I began building gardens in my front lawn, in my back lawn, on my friend's lawns, on public property -- anywhere I could. It helped me feel alive. It helped my community to prevent crime. To feed the hungry. To make a difference.

I left the job I hated and downsized my career because I realized the importance of humanity as it relates to the environment.

I began building closer and more important relationships with my family and friends.

I became a newspaper columnist. I became an author - writing a book on green lifestyle living. I have two successful blogs -- one on gardening, and one on green lifestyle living.

I have traveled to Europe, Mexico, and all over the United States keynote speaking and creating videos on the importance of making a difference for the world.

And it all started with a garden.

I am healthy. I am happy. I am strong.

I took my life back and am confident again.

I am alive and spend every day living for the moment.

I am more satisfied with my own life because I am making a difference and helping others.

Great inspirational message. I am happy to hear that you have gotten away from all of the unnecessary "worldly" means of healing and found the natural means that the good Lord has blessed us with.
