Opening Of Ahn'Qiraj - EU Ghostlands Server.

This is a video showing the opening of Ahn'Qiraj, on the EU server "Ghostlands".

The person who opened the gate was an alliance gnome known as "Prinsen". There was a relatively big arguement on the ghostlands server for a few days leading up to the event. The reason for this arguement was that the alliance gnome actually only transfered to ghostlands 2 weeks before opening the gate. Now a lot of players were upset by the fact that a player from another server, came to Ghostlands server only to open up their gate and get the mount/title that follows. But besides that I'd like to thank everyone who showed up for the event, dispite what your views were on the entire event... But hey I hope you atleast appreciate the fact that you were there when the gate opened :).

The gate officially opened on August the 17th 2007, at 7pm (GMT +1:00).

The person who opened the gates is scarab lord miikee in lost... Not a gnome... Although its wierd cos miikee is a DK and this happened before the time of DKs..

@ItzzMaNiAc The obvious conclusion is that you're wrong. miikee (whoever he is) did NOT open the gates on the EU Ghostlands server.

I started playing WoW on Arthas (US). Supplies were still being gathered at that time but I remember my friends Gallic about the event. I was level 15 or so when it happened. Its a shame this was the only purpose of the Silithus zone. Then they tried to make World PvP in like 1.12 or something. Blizzard definitely needs to do another world event like this. It really was an exciting time. I remember watching the supply meters on the site and everything.
