Just a test to see if a solar panel could run a very simple counter top Newman motor. It did.

  • could i connect a battery streight to a simple newman motor and get it to work or is the capaciter the key to making it work..quality vid dude

  • SteveMontuno------Use a battery. The capacitor was just to show that it also can be used. The Newman Motor doesn't care where it gets the energy from.

  • I think some Newman motors could run on less than 1Watt. Nice setup!

  • Thanks Careica. I have watched most of your videos. Good work.

  • i want do the same but i want very smaller solar .but how can support the trend for do the same work?

  • do more talk less

  • You should attach a bell to the spinning bit and then use it as an alarm clock!

    That would be so cool

  • it goes only with neodium magnets????

  • I think you're suppose to use two magnets that create a magnetic field in between them that closes off the "circuit". This is just a regular motor, if it only has one magnet.

  • Is anyone generating power with the Newman motor? I see a lot of video's showing the Newman motor operating but not many except Joseph himself showing what it actually produces?

  • i ran my newman motor at 2w...nice vid tho
