@barredowl99 I like to believe my 5-year old self at the time was there in spirit! You are fortunate to be able to say you witnessed stuff like this. I've only got 4 shows under my belt and I can only imagine what this felt like

94 and 95 were Phish's epic period--not in the modern sense: "dude that was EPIC!" but like, the music itself is a huge power trip. I'd say 92-93 was a period of quirky intensity, and 96-98 was going ultra cerebral. But this shit is just pure power--the sound of a band that can really do anything it wants and well.

@cerqs76 You got that right, except I do love me some Fall '95. Everyone going around saying the tickets were dosed after stellar shows. lol. The energy of the crowd exceeded what trey could harness and hose back at you. In '94 he gathered it up like a black hole eating light then went supernova and burned a laser beam of catharsis through your skull.
