Meet Charles Howard.
Charles is a great snowboarder for Special Olympics Team USA, but it's his personality that really makes him a star. He exudes self-confidence and has a sense of humor that really resonates with friends, family, teammates or anyone lucky enough to get to know him.
At the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games, Charles won the silver medal in Advanced Giant Slalom Snowboarding and also had the honor of lighting the Special Olympics Cauldron with the Flame of Hope at the Opening Ceremony.
