I was very lucky to see these guys play this song on their 2007 doomsday x tour when Dave Culross was behind the kit but I've noticed they don't play this a lot in general. I have no idea why it's one of my favorite Malevolent Creation songs!

and if you want to hear what the album could've been, track down the album "Joe Black". it has a 1993 demo version of the song "Genetic Affliction" with Larry on drums and better vocals from Brett.

which is why Alex had to learn all of Larry Hawke's stuff basically last minute. I don't know the story behind why the album sounds so bad, but it's still fucking great. awesome riffs, John Rubin SHREDS, Brett can still do some killer screams (check out the end of "Dominion of Terror).

a lot of people have already talked about the problems on the album. like these guys have I've read an interview or two with Phil, and he said it was just a bad time for the band. Brett was doing drugs, the original drummer ("Crazy" Larry Hawke) was incarcerated (for what I don't remember) and they wanted him to redo a few drum tracks but couldn't bail him out.

I saw Malevolent Creation in NY in 2005 and they played Dominated Resurgency from Stillborn.

Secondly, i have a live show from the In Cold Blood tour and they played this song-but nothing else from StillBorn... on youtube is also a live version of "Ordain the Hierarchy" does ANYONE know if they played any other songs live from that album ever? specifically "Genetic Affliction" "Dominion of Terror" or "Geared for Gain"

Ya, I can tell you they played Dominated Resurgency at both shows I saw in the U.S. during the 2005 "Warkult" tour.
