Getting things wired up.. It's not the best, nor up to code; but it's fired up and I'm learning, which is my goal. Please do not use this as a model for your system--I really need fuses on the battery bank!

  • @randacnam7321 Thanks for the feedback, I actually have a transfer switch sitting on my kitchen table. Like I said within my video, it's very temporary, my quote at 0:47 "this is the way not to do things". I picked up a QO xfer switch but need to find time to get it installed and will hopefully get a hole in the wall tomorrow. Looking forward to getting it in and firing up the house with solar! Well, not literally.. :)

  • Get a transfer switch. Much safer than that suicide cord you have.

  • good video thanks i did not no if that would work or not you may try some 6 volt golf cart batterys they should work well for you
