Yes... this is pricey, it will last forever, and it's Italian.

BTW... I recommend a Bogen/Manfrotto tripod with a ball head and quick release mount. This is a bit pricey, but then again you won't have to buy another tripod again... unless you raku it of course... (and don't overtighten the ball head).
