I have a mostly original 500SEL, and I think this would look badass on mine with a little bumper modification. I'll probably keep mine mostly orig, but putting your own little customizations is what owning a car is all about. I don't want just another cookie cutter, and that's why I bought a mercedes and not a honda.

@bratwa oh save it, why not modify a car? Most people keep it original, some people are open minded and want to actually improve the car's performance! So let them!

What were you thinking. This cars looks cheap and tasteless. A 500 SEC should be original.

custom? as in it's center exit duals? i'd say that's far from standard..

full setup is no cats, dual 2.25" to a single 3" that is 3 feet long, (basically an extended X-pipe) back out to dual 2.25" with center exit resonated 3" tips. on the most recent video, it has mufflers. in person, it wasn't that raspy. just sounds like it cause i used a digital camera. i've since sold the car, been through two other cars, now i have a SAAB 9000 Aero.. fun videos to come.. trust me. ;)
