The Shimmy Club, Inc., (www.theshimmyclub.org), non-profit, provides arts and culture education to persons of varied abilities. Their You Move Me Tango program, teaches Argentine tango to blind and visually impaired youth in Miami-Dade County and senior citizens in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In this video, senior citizen You Move Me Tango program participants, through The Shimmy Club's collaboration with Asociacion de Ayuda al Ciego (www.asac.org.ar) in Buenos Aires, are invited to dance for the public at the International Day for Persons with Disabilities. On this day program participants proudly demonstrate their newfound sense of belonging, the joy they feel in celebrating the arts interactively, and the unique opportunity to experience their culture in a manner as never before imagined.

The Shimmy Club, Inc. thanks their You Move Me Tango Program Team-Buenos Aires, led by Project Director, Raul Cabral (www.raultangocabral.com.ar) and Creative Directors, Jorge Torres (www.connectango.com) and Silvina Valz (www.tangoexperience.com) and all their supporters for contributing to the success of this program.
