Climax scene from the Malayalam movie "Manichitrathazhu". This movie was later remade to "Apthamitra" in Kannada, "Chandramukhi" in Tamil and Telugu & eventually "Bhool Bhulaiya" in Hindi. The actress in this clip went on to win the National Film Award for Best Actress for her memorable role in this movie.

  • wow i don't understand the meaning but that actress is so wonderful,gracious,beautiful,talented...i just can't stop watching this repeatedly.. off-course the simple Indian classical music and singer:)

  • @mbasappa It's not supposed to have 'ghostly' feelings. It's a psychological thriller. Not a horror flick. So no, Shobhana's eyes don't light up as if they have LEDs in them. They kind of raped the brilliant original movie and then puked on it by doing the Tamil remake. It's just awful.

  • shobhana is fantastic, ace dancer of course. but to b honest i really liked soundarya n jyothika evn tho they are not good dancer they were good.

  • @anoopmdaas technically this song is in Tamil whereas in the tamil version the song is in telugu, raa raa is telugu not tamil

  • @ramya302009 yes it was annoying. i wonder why stars act in such ways to make themselves look like almighty.

  • @DESTINEDTOLIVE123 malayalam is not meant to be horror with light coming out from the eyes. malayalm films are natural stories of day to day. this movie was meant to be a thriller not horror. it was made into horror by other languages

  • @kamalraghavann - yes even actor jayam ravi says he watches malayalam movies and learns acting.

  • @coolidge909 exactly !. this is and will always be the best, each time when they remake malayalam movies into other language the directors spoil the naturalness of malayalam original stories. nobody can come close to shobana.

  • @police8595 Because it is in kuntalavaarali. 'maale manivanna' is in kuntalavaraaLi.

  • the look at 0:47 of her gives me the creeps!!!!!!!!

  • shobhana is best .....jyothika ,sundarya r good but they r far behind....

  • I feel for all those mugs who come in and post here about how those Tamil and Telugu actresses were better than Shobhana and blah blah.I am no fan of Shobana. But she is a class apart from Jyothika, and its unfair for her to be compared with Shobhana.
