Beginning / Intermediate - Open chord strumming exercises for people who can form chords, but have trouble strumming in time. Play three downstrokes and change chords on the 4th beat. Then, *add* the three upstrokes to divide your three-stroe strum pattern in to six strokes over each chord. 8 playalongs with backing tracks, about 40 seconds each.

  • KensY -- There are at least two ways to make an open A. You need three fingers, so you can exclude the little finger, or you can exclude the index finger - which is what I did. Hope this helps -- GV
