Bruno with wheels Bullmastiff in a wheelchair

Bruno, 4 year old Bullmastiff, 1st trip out with his new wheelchair.
Can large dogs cope with wheelchairs/carts??? MOST DEFINATELY YES & what a Godsend Bruno's wheelchair is. A heartfelt thanks to Doggon'Wheels who supplied the wheelchair. Bruno is due to have knee replacement to his left hind leg. Being a Bullmastiff he is a large heavy dog so walking on three legs is causing damage to his right hind leg. Thanks to Doggon Wheels wheelchair he is now supported when exercised which prevents any further damage to either hind leg. I strongly believe that the wheelchair will be a further Godsend in his rehabilitation after knee surgery. To see Bruno wag his tail & get excited when he is having his harness on for the wheelchair speaks for itself & yes he can perform all toilet duties whilst in the chair!! I have no doubt that purchasing this wheelchair is definately the best decision I have made. I cannot thank or praise Doggon Wheels enough.

Unfortunately both of Bruno,s knees dislocate very easily. An MRI scan showed that he also had OCD in his left knee which was why he was so lame & in such severe pain. Bruno then ruptured the Cruciate ligament. A knee replacement was the only way foreward.

Stop buying "trophy breeds" with hereditory problems and you'll save yourself (and the animal) a lot of pain and hassle.
