60x60 Solo- Columbus, OH

This is a rehearsal video of a contemporary/modern dance I choreographed for the 60x60 Project- check out www.voxnovus.com for more information. Basically, the performance consists of 60 1 minute pieces of music that are randomly assigned to dancers or performers that apply, and they then choreograph 1 minute to the music. The final performance is an hour long montage of 60 1 minute pieces. It's pretty damn awesome!

So for this piece I actually choreographed the dance to the second piece of music, then switched it to the first piece. I decided to wear this 80's prom dress that I wore to high school homecoming one year.

This was performed in Columbus, OH on Oct. 3.
