I am in the Rachel camp as far as the Apple Blossom goes, but Zenyatta would have to run the worst race of her career to lose the Santa Margarita..it is an abyssmal field. I think Clear Sailing and Zardana are better than anything the Santa Margarita has to offer.

@sockdude Still think Rachel is a better horse?If I thought I had a Horse"Rachel A" That could beat Zen,my ass wouldve been at the apple blossom to claim my 5 million.Racing isnt about money though is it?Rachel wouldnt be able to beat Zen at any distance,never 10 furlongs.Rachels team knew it and thats why they never met.Zenyatta showed up for every chance to meet Rachel in 09' Classic,Apple Blossom 10' and this years Classic but they retired her.Good luck to Rachel and Curlin for making a baby

@205seeme well rachel i say is still the better horse than zenyatta, zenyatta has been running the same stakes each year, following the same path...

yes both horse are very good and i do like watching both race but i like rachel more only cuz shes ran against the boys 3 times? and won 3times, thats a hard thing to do...zenyatta ran against them once and well yeah she won..

@sockdude You really need to do your homework....she tied Cigar, Citation, Ormonde, and Ribot for the most consecutive number of victories in major stakes competitions.On June 7, Zenyatta was assigned to carry 129 lbs for the second consecutive time in that race. On June 13, 2010, she won her 17th race in a row when she took the Vanity. She set a new record for consecutive wins in unrestricted stakes races, and tied Rock Of Gibraltar's record of seven consectutive Gr.1 races.
