Unlimited Silver Reno Air Race 2008 Reno Nevada

The Silver Unlimited race on Sept 14 2008 at the Reno/Stead Airport. The people standing to my left at the pit ropes would not shut up while I was trying to capture these planes!! First place went to the Hawker Sea Fury September Pops at 407.457MP. Second place was the P-51D Mustang Miss America at 406.768MPH, Third was the Yak 3U Steadfast at 385.852MPH. Forth was the Grumman F7F Tigercat Big Bossman at 367.327MPH. Michael Brown from Carson City owns and flys September Pops, Big Bossman and September Fury (that took third in the Gold Unlimited). I have worked on his three planes, along with Dreadnought and Argonaut owned by Brian and Dennis Sanders of Sanders Aviation. All of the Mike Brown and Sanders Aviation planes are based at Eagles Nest Airport just NE of Ione Calif. Web site is here http://www.sandersaircraft.com
