Mt Vernon Rescue 56

The Darley Company is proud to deliver this new Poly Bodied rescue truck to the Town of Mount Vernon, Maine Volunteer Fire Department. A Ford F450 with their new 6.7 L diesel engine and 6-speed automatic transmission propels this rescue vehicle. It features seven roll-up door compartments for storage of medical supplies, extrication equipment, and firefighting tools. The rear compartments is specially designed to store a Stokes basket, backboards, and ten spare SCBA bottle in a Poly "slide in" configuration. Each side of the body is also equipped with an electric motorized awning for rehab protected from the elements. A thermostatically controlled heater has been installed to prevent freezing of the medical supplies stored in the front and middle compartments.
