I don't think they were harrassing him. At least not on that clip. They were asking him questions and letting him reply. That was a great showing of democracy. The crowd problably walked away disagreeing with him but got direct access on to why he may vote the way he does.
@mikebama49 Well,we could have a vice president steering government contracts to a company he owns stock in.We could have a President who doesn't pay attention at intel briefings and doesn't go after terrorists because he doesn't want to "swat flies".We could have a Congress controlled by a party that refuses to raise taxes to cover spending for two wars, but cuts taxes instead. We could have a political party that believes that cutting taxes is the solution to economic problems,no matter what.
@mikebama49 not sure but really glad I can get insurance now, being born with heart defects made it close to impossible to get insurance. If it wasn't for Obama care, I'd never be able to see a doctor
Let me get this straight. We're "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, but exempts themselves from it, signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. What could possibly go wrong? Obamacare?
@rringsred911 You are correct. So why do you keep voting them into power? You vote for people who claim to share your vies, but then they ultimately end up serving the corporate interest, which is in direct conflict with your best interest.
@rringsred911 Polls are and always will be skewed to the desired outcome. Now, how often do people on your side of the isle listen to polls that disagree with them? Oh, yes... THOSE polls are wrong.
What you're paypal account? I want to send you some $ to go get a clue.
@knhutchens the bill and legislation that have been passed in the last year or so have been rammed down the public's throat. even Frank Lautenburg a democrat from NJ doubted that his colleagues could vote on the $790,000,000,000 stimulus and understand it before the final vote in congress (-cnsnews.com). when the people that we elect cant do what we hire them to do the whole of the government system is in jeopardy.
I love Franken. He and Bernie Sanders would be my dream ticket for president.
