Tijdens het weekend van 14 en 15 mei 2011 wordt de Stad aan Zee opnieuw omgetoverd tot een echt vliegerparadijs. Naar jaarlijkse gewoonte vindt dan het grootste vliegerfestival van België plaats. Vliegers in alle kleuren en vormen, bizarre figuren en traditionele kites kleuren de Oostendse hemel. U kunt deelnemen aan het taiko rokkaku-gevecht, diverse initiaties en nachtvliegeren, of een bezoekje brengen aan doorlopende workshops en tentoonstellingen. Voor de kleintjes zijn er de snoepjesdropping en het kinderatelier.
During the weekend of 14 and 15 May 2011, the City by the Sea once again transformed into a real kite paradise. Like every year, then takes the biggest kite festival in Belgium instead. Kites of all colors and shapes, bizarre characters and traditional kites coloring the sky Ostend. You can join the taiko-Rokkaku battle, several initiations and night flying, or visit ongoing workshops and exhibitions. For the little ones, dropping the sweets and the children's workshop.
