  • hey i just bought a PRO 78SE..i just wanted to ask you what are the best settings to run it on..im in Perth. I turned off X band and left all other bands running. Also if i turn off K band will i absolutely get no cop car detection even though i leave POP mode on? I asked that because occassionaly there is the K band falso alert in city..cheers

  • we pre-program each Whistler so you do not need to change anything. If you have changed settings, the recommended settings are on our warranty card.

  • wow i am impressed. i think you would get longer warning with radar higher up and also driving in right hand lane???

  • placing the radar on your sun visor can increae the range of notification you you will recieve. However as seen here it is not always requried.

  • Out of curiosity what gave you that idea?

  • Did you see the large street sign in front of the multanova. That'll make it read accurately. That's a damn good range for a radar detector against multanovas. It seems a very repeatable distance too, not like some that just show 1 video, but no follow ups.
