Julie Lynn was a wonderful skater! She often in the shadows of Janet Lynn and also was somewhat shortchanged by the nature of the scoring system. After the 1972 Olympics, she skated for the Ice Capades in the West Company and also was the principal skater in the group that skated on the "Donnie and Marie" show. One of my personal all-time favorites!

@mhughes72 It was a wonderful time for American skating! She really wasn't in Janet's shadow......almost always beating her at Worlds'.....if only by a small margin! There were political forces at work in both arenas, with Dick pushing Janet Nationally, and Carlo pushing Julie at Worlds..........thanks for commenting.
