This was my first year carving the turkey. My Dad has always done it but he had to work this Thanksgiving. Being the oldest Male in attendance this year it fell on me to carve the bird. I didn't actually cook it though. Essentially the only thing I had to do was the breasts the legs, thighs and wings were not tied or otherwise secured and when transferring from the roasting pan to the carving board they all fell off~ Even after that I still received many compliments on the carving.
