The Foot Guards weren't given special consideration when the cutbacks came in 1990 and 2004.
Although they have fared better than other infantry regiments because they belong to the Household Division, they're still subject to cutbacks and reorganisation.
But there's definitely no denying that the size of the bands have decreased.
