  • Prove this multiverse.

  • @andy32capp Not everything true can be proven (Godel) and not everything provable is true (validity vs. soundness). It *is*, however, an accepted interpretation of Quantum Mechanics. I have other reasons for accepting it as well, but these might necessitate another video . . .

  • This subject fascinates me. Does magick require belief to work? Can one do magick without intending to? How can you tell if it is magic or just the natural course of events? Sounds to me like just a different way of looking/percieving/reflecting on things. Isn't magick just a way of explaining what happens filling a gap where information is lacking?

  • @concord327 Not all belief is conscious, and one could make an argument that the most potent reservoir of transfer is to be had in the subconscious/unconscious. Jungian psychology would certainly buttress such a view.

Magick IS a natural course of events. The word "supernatural," though evocative, is vacuous. Check my blog on SIN dealing with this. As to filling in gaps, that depends on what you mean. All perception operates by just such a mechanism, yet we accept a conjoined world anyway.

  • a fascinating and learned perspective on magick, I am a little surprised and pleased that it is so nearly congruent to my own. I am curious as to what you might say about the nature of chaos.

  • Im sure there are other words in other lanuages that would equal both meanings of spirit and mind.

But multiverses and shit not so necessary.

Its just more honest to say man can anthropomorphise any aspect of nature and it works best when done that way everything else is just random ass speculation and just gets messy.Plus its not much fun if your doing magick and you dont get to talk to shit thats not there physically. If it aint scary it aint real.

  • Great vid, thanks for making it.

  • Nicely explained.

  • Video response coming

  • Good video. My idea is similar: that the multiverse is the world of everything imaginable (an extension of Max Tegmark’s mathematical universe hypothesis). Magic is our ability to explore this multiverse with our minds. Magic and imagination are identical, and so perhaps are consciousness and the multiverse itself.

  • @jason666king Fair enough. I'm too materialistic to care about such things after a couple days anyhow.

  • Excellent! Jason you have an amazing gift of taking those things that are intuitively known as well as experienced and expressing them with words, which is a difficult task when dealing with the phenomenon of magic.

  • P.S you slam the sigil system, alas, why? The foundation of MANY systems, not just Chaos Magick my nigga. Anyways, good to see your beards grown n your still kicking.. paz y respeto homes...

  • Good job hotdog..love The Nightside of Eden was pretty good as an introduction to metaphysical thought to me. The 4th Book of Crowley also an excellent book, of many of his excellent books. Why does Chaos Magick not appeal to you King Ding a Ling? Plus we all know the black chicks gots booty but those Chinese girls are hot too.
