most of their losses this year have been by 1 goal, with boodaj throwing games down. Raycroft was ABYSMAL (no shock there) and still mamaged to win games allowing 5 goals..
the avs will be a dominant factor if they do two things: swap Raycrap for something acceptable, Khabibulin, or actually anyone else for that matter, and a Point man on D (someone who can actually fire the puck: so they stop using sakic on point) Bouwmeester?

The avs big problem seems to be their special teams (i blame Q, as with most everything), their forechecking (or lack thereof - NONE), and their powerplay lately has to be one of the weakest in the leauge, and games can very possibly turn around based on a single PP goal alone. Which, as of last year, i remember none =/
so just keep a lookout for some of those next time.
You should also keep in mind that this is all coming from a fan who has been banned by the Avs msg board too - funny story!
