  • Sweet saxophones of Billy Vaughn, memory of our young. years. Thanks

  • Love this song and the arrangement is amazing. I use to have this album, but lost it over the years.

    Thanks for posting.

  • This definetly reminds me of the of the tropical Islands. Islands such as the Hawaiian Isles for sure. I have to wonder if the most popular destination for American sunworshippers is up to date with the cloths off policy....I mean we have a clothing optional beach just down the street from the bus stop here in Vancouver, called Wreck Beach, but for the most part it hardly resembles a sunny warm place like Hawaii. . I know Billy Vaughn best for his Orange Blossum Special & thx4 postin'

  • Tenstarsplus!!!! Makeout song par excellence!!! Nobody comes close to Billy Vaughn and his tenor- sax!!!! Thank you for posting this!!!!!! KUDOS!!!!

  • Awesome song.....awesome recording. This entire LP to me evokes Hawaii and it's many memories. No wonder the LP was a million dollar lp for Vaughn.

The flip of the single was also a hit/ Hawaiian War Chant.

  • You'll now find this song on my 1959 playlist, one of 120 playlists that let you hear the sounds of any year back to the 1880s as if you were back in the day.

  • Very nice tune. Last time heard in the air under the monoscope from TV Vienna in autumn 1961.
