Sunday, June 10, 2007, Doctor Jazz visited Sderot, the Israeli town adjacent to Gaza that is being fired upon from Gaza by terrorists with Kassam rockets. We came to bring some smiles and to let the residents know they are not alone.

We accompanied David Landau of Standing Together, who brought a carload of watermelons to give out free of charge.

The results speak for themselves.

Doctor Jazz Quartet: Elazar Brandt--leader, banjo, cornet, vocals; Paul Lentini--guitar; Avi Schwartz--pocket trumpet; Alon Ganani--washboard.

Soundtrack: "Doctor Jazz" from our CD, "Ben Yehudah Street Parade", ACUM, 2004.
