@MrComaToes And as you already know they are not train horns... if you ever saw train hons in person you'd know it immediately even the smallest are massive in comparison and air operated.

@rkorsberg Actually, while they do look like air horns, the electrical leads for them are clearly shown... so, not air horns... I have seen horns like that on equipment and trucks of the fifties and early sixties mounted under the hood as either the main horns on a medium duty truck or as back-up horns for a trucki with air-horns
