Pastor Dave Gibson puts the spotlight on the street preachers use of words and issues a Biblical warning from inside the camp that we must be ever mindful of the words we use as we declare the whole counsel of God. A timeless message to the open air preacher.
SHEEPLE, plain and simple. That's why they are still in the pews. They don't have the discipline or fire to study so they don't NEED you. LAZY!!

NOT "sticks and BONES". I've HAD it with preachers who preach disciline and obedience to God, yet are quite obviously out of control in the eating department. You would be FAR MORE credable if you were in shape and had on a nice suit. But you probably take PRIDE in your down-to-earth, country-bumpkin, southern-gospel look. Listen to those watching you giving up the "Amen"'s and "That's right!". Yet no one calls you to account for your weight.

If the theme is "watch", why don't you WATCH how much FOOD you eat?? Have you thought about watching the pounds as they increase on the scale? If, as you say, you are not as active NOW as in your youth, how about cutting back on your caloric intake? Your TEMPLE expandith a bit. Overeating is a sin equal to adultery in God's eyes. It shows a lack of discipline. Why don't you feel convicted about being FAT?? I dispise Christians who are hypocrites. And the term is "sticks and STONES....."
