  • I had somebody a few years ago who was really into investing explain short selling

and I didn't understand a thing what he was talking about. So funny, because it's actually so

simple as this video illustrates - thanks Matt! I really liked your exile stuff back in the Moscow days and it's great seeing all the stuff you're putting out now - really useful and interesting.

  • this is an excellent post!

  • count chocula charges a small fee for letting herve borrow the shares, he forgot to say. that's how the count benefits. the counts make all they're money on fees, that's why those assholes are always trying to come up with new ways to get you to do stuff with your money. the fees.

  • How does short selling benefit Wilford Brimley or Count Chocula? It only seemed to be benefit Herve. How does it let you know if a company is corrupt or unethical?

  • @adam1mc It's called naked short selling, and basically Count Chocula lends out more shares to short sellers than he actually has, and it's not at all uncommon.

  • If this was the legal way to short-sell, what about the 'illegal' short selling?

  • Taibbi is cool.......he tells the truth

  • Nice Vid, very Glenn Beck like with the whole white board thing... Think you'll get a call from Fox News?
