Cayless may be born & bred in Australia but he turned down an origin jersey as he wanted to play for NZ unlike Karmichel Hunt who was born/bred in NZ and turned down a NZ jersey to play for Austrlia. Bennet has not won 9 world cups - Chris Anderson was the coach in 2000, and remeber Bob Fulton was in 1988.

There have always been more lows than highs for league in NZ. This is a great result for NZ League. We must now build on this to ensure we are always competitive with Australia.
