Last night NewsReal Blogs Editor-in-Chief David Horowitz gave a talk at UC San Diego to counter the Muslim Students Associations Israeli Apartheid Week. (Horowitz made a point to properly describe the event as Hitler Youth week.) He was literally giving his speech at the same time as notorious anti-Semite Norman Finkelstein.

During the Question and Answer period Horowitz had a chilling exchange with a member of the MSA in which he prodded her to reveal the depraved depths of her Jew-hatred. Whats shocking is not so much that she holds such views, but rather that she was willing to admit it...

@MsColdCanada I said that about Jizya because I was being sarcastic. I know what those muslims are all about, I studied the history of islam, I read the Quran and Ahadeeth, so I know exactly what they are.

@kuttenkijker Yes, so why then suggest that paying Jizya would bring relief to the world when it is rare for a Muslim to stand against another Muslim even one who is committing a grave injustice? There is no "golden rule" of treat others as you wish to be treated in Islam. Man's inhumanity to man cannot be solved by specific rules with harsh punishments for all who step a toe wrong despite what the clerics may say.

@kuttenkijker I don't think it would help. The Christians who live in Muslim majority countries pay the Jizya and yet there are reports of violence and church destruction in those countries. It is likely a minority of very narrow-minded Muslim hardliners who commit the violence against the Christians... but it still happens.

A Jewish settler who throws rocks at passing palestinian school children is arrested and charges are filed (happened just recently, actually.)

Muslims, on the other hand, are taught to hate, kill, persecute, rape, and demean others. There is only one koran, and it is clear that there are Muslims and others (less than human who can be killed as you would kill ants in your kitchen.)
