just because it has a spoiler and pinstripe dosent mean its a GSX you could buy the spoiler and paint the pinstripe all that matters is the V.I.N code

I've been in buicks since 1983 and noticed some shifting???Is it standard(Muncie) or auto(shift kit)and is it original or just a well deserved candy?I think I might turn my 70 GS convertible Stage 1 into a standard but I must confess,it would negate its original title...What do you think about that?

I think that the gs should only have been offered in a four speed for the fun aspect. The brown car is original down to the seats covers, and was hands down one of the strongest stock muscle cars I have driven. The only one that compares is the galaxie that I have a video for. Convert it if you are not planning on selling it. If you ever sell it look out, because there are too many nay sayers out there that just know your car is fake without seeing it. Ecspecially if you go changing things.

@travisbunch IF YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH THE FACTORY SHIFT KITS THEY PUT IN THESE TH400'S WERE VERY PERFORMANCE ORIENTED. YOU MUST REMEMBER SOME PEOPLE WOULD RATHER SAVE THEIR RIGHT HAND FOR THEIR WOMAN AND STILL BLOW THE DOORS OFF A STICK SHIFT CAR ON HANDED!!!
