  • Amory Lovins is a certified crackpot. Solar Energy is a joke. It doesn't work at night. It doesn't work when it's raining or snowing. The Solar Cells don't even last very long. Do you want to have blackouts and brownouts in mid winter? Solar does next to nothing for transportation. Can you power a 747 with solar energy? Think about it. I work in the energy industry and can say that not only is this guy stupid, he's dangerous. Solar will never be more than a niche source of practical energy.
