The first time I'd flown into Daegu, South Korea, back on October 30, 2008, it was nighttime. And every time I'd flown into or out of Korea since, on my way either to the U.S. (once) or Japan (twice), I'd flown from/to either Seoul or Busan. But this time around, coming back from Korea's own Jeju-do, I flew into Daegu during the day. And so, though it is a limited view, those who haven't seen - from the air - the city I've been living in the past year...now can.
