@ShamanSquirrel maybe you should try comparing Kate Bush to more realistic contemporary equivalents and the difference wouldn't be so dramatic. kate bush was never a top 40 prostitute like those of modern day you referenced. you want someone from today to sing like Kate? try Bat for Lashes, Bjork or maybe Joanna Newsom. @spazzmuffinz36 No not anybody can sing like her.. She has great variation in her voice and wrote The Man With A Child In His Eyes when she was a young teenager. Her first album The Kick Inside was realised when she was 19, full of sophisticated songs that she wrote, that are timeless, beautiful, funny, deep and utterly orignal. That is why she is called talented and genius songwriter....She also was at the forefront of great choreography, changed the music scene completely.

This is not her best work, I admit, but she has made such beautiful songs with interesting and meaningful lyrics. Please check out "Breathing", "The Sensual world", "The Dreaming", "Running up that hill", "Sat in your lap ", "Wow", "The man with the child in his eyes", well I could go on and on....

She has put across verything i'd like to say to people that have joined the forces. " the army is not there to help the soldiers but to put their lives at sake as to take those of other they no nothing about" I don't think anyone has the right to say, "go risk your life for our cause!" Peace.
