@camaflauge, even if his lineage goes back to the yahud (few generations earlier) it does not give you any right to label him a Jew. The direct lineage before the coming of Muhammad (saw) are pagan arabs, jews, christians, thus can you apply this rational and attribute paganism to Muhammad and his companions? So this logic is the highest form of stupidity. Indeed Allah (swt) Guides alone, but the responsibility of conveying the message lie in the Ummah.

He has inherited nothing from the anbiyyah, as he is not of the 'ulema. He invites people to his version of Islam, not 'pure tawheed' as you put it.
